The AQHA Executive Committee has approved to proceed with the 2020 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show to be held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, July 29 – August 8.
Entry information will be shared on AQHA.com at the beginning of June.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is rather hit or miss to determine which shows will be happening and which ones will be canceled, postponed, or combined with other shows later in the year.
Recently, the 2020 Pinto Pinto World in Tulsa was postponed and combined with the Color Breed Congress; ApHC Youth World Show and Nationals were canceled in Fort Worth, while the AjPHA Youth World was postponed and combined with the Open/Amateur World in September.
While these shows were not held at the scheduled times, the Redbud Spectacular was approved to proceed at its scheduled time at the Oklahoma City Fair Grounds this week. Since it is the same fairgrounds as the AQHYA World Show is held, there was a hopeful optimism that it would take place as planned.
Due to the Level 1 Championships being canceled this year, the Level 1 Youth Championship classes will also be held this year during the Youth World Show.
