While our world may be full of uncertainty today due to the Coronavirus , there are a few things that we at GoHorseShow know. First and foremost, we are fortunate to call the horse industry home. Over the past 12 years and 143 issues of GoMag, we have loved working with people we are proud to call our friends, both old and new. We value these relationships more than words can express.
We also know that people’s love for horses and the horse show industry will never waiver. The April 2020 issue of GoMag is not our biggest, but it certainly is one of our proudest. We appreciate everyone who, despite adversity and uncertainty, put their trust in GoMag again this month. We cannot thank you enough.
Finally, we would like to thank our incredibly passionate and loyal readership. While everyone shelters at home on their digital devices, our readers are clearly looking to GoHorseShow more than ever. And we continue to be committed to bringing you all of your online horse show news and entertainment.
Stay safe and enjoy the April issue of GoMag.

About the Cover
Featured on the cover of the April issue of GoMag are Bella D’Onofrio and NA Heartbeat, also known as Valentino. Bella’s mother, Jennifer D’Onofrio surprised Bella with the April cover for her Sweet 16th Birthday, which she will officially celebrate in May.
“I can’t believe Bella’s Sweet 16 is here. The term ‘Sweet 16’ describes her so well. She is truly the sweetest teenager I could imagine,” Jennifer states. “I’m so proud of her hard work, passion and genuine, kind heart.”
Bella and Valentino had an outstanding show season last year, including winning the Congress 12-14 Hunter Under Saddle class with two firsts and a second.
Bella’s proud mother reflects, “The 2019 Congress win was my favorite moment of her show career. Not announcing the individual judges’ cards certainly added to the excitement. Seeing her as the last one standing on that white wall was one I will cherish forever. She had listened to Carrie Underwood’s song, ‘The Champion’ every day leading up to the Congress. We often sang or shouted it together. My favorite image was her laying over his neck as they exited Celeste. She was so grateful that he gave her that ride and made her dream come true.”
In 2020, Bella will also be showing her other horse, Nearly Chocolate (Curly – pictured right above) in Youth 14-18 All-Around events. “Curly is truly an all-around horse and is extremely willing and athletically talented. I’m very proud that Bella and our trainer Missy Thyfault have added so many events to him.”
In 2018, Bella and Curly came away with two bronze globes in the 13 & Under Horsemanship and Showmanship at the AQHYA World Show.
Since the state of Ohio is currently under full quarantine, the mother and daughter team have not been able to ride lately. “Missy has been kind to send us photos and videos of our horses. I am a physical therapist so poor Bella gets a daily dose of ‘mom workouts’ focused on exercises to keep those riding muscles in shape. Our horses have helped us through photos, videos, and memories and have given us something to look forward to. We both can’t wait to snuggle and smell them and hear them nicker at us again soon.”
On behalf of everyone at GoHorseShow, we wish Bella a very happy 16th birthday.
