Welcome to APHA E-Shows, our online show experience. Periodically, we’ll host an all-breed, virtual horse show where you can compete from the comfort and safety of your own arena. Just film your performance based on the outlined criteria, submit your video, and our judges will take it from there.
Whether you are preparing for an upcoming event or just want to see how your skills stack up against the competition, APHA’s E-Shows are the perfect tool to help you sharpen your performance! When you enter an APHA E-Show, you’ll receive private, constructive, detailed feedback from an APHA-approved judge no matter how you place AND the chance to win money through jackpotted awards.
APHA E-Shows rules are simple and classes easy to enter. All breeds of horses are welcome. Exhibitors must be a current APHA member. All classes are judged according to the current APHA Rule Book. All equipment and attire must be legal, but silver and sequins will not count over a good working outfit.
To get started, select a class below. Pay the entry fee and download the pattern, practice and videotape your go, then return here to upload your video. After judging is complete, you’ll receive an email with detailed feedback on your performance and a check if you place in the payout!
Classes
Entries open March 20 at 8 a.m. CDT and close April 6 at 5 p.m. CDT
How to Enter
Select your class from the list below. Click on the “ENTER NOW” button to add this class to your PH Barn Door shopping cart. In the comment section, please include your horse’s name and your APHA membership number. You can quickly add more classes to your cart by using the “quick view” function. If you need to purchase or renew your APHA membership, add it to your cart at this time. Proceed to check out and pay.
How to Compete
After you’ve entered the class, download the pattern, practice and record your go. Return to this page to upload your video. After judging is complete, you’ll receive an email with detailed feedback on your performance and a check if you place in the payout.
How to Upload Your Video
When you’re ready, click the “Upload Video” button below for the class you’ve entered. You’ll be redirected to a DropBox folder. Follow the prompts to upload your video. Please name your video file using your first name, underscore, last name, underscore, and the email address you would like to have your private, detailed, constructive critiques sent to. For example: Elizabeth_Lawhorn_elawhorn@apha.com.mov
