GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Debby Jury of Eatonton, Georgia on the purchase of up-and-coming superstar, Blue Sky Enterprise (Teddy). The three-year-old gray gelding was owned by Kevin and Amy Smith of Capall Creek Farm and is under the guidance of Keith Miller. Teddy is by Smith’s stallion, Iron Enterprise and out of Blue Skys Movin In who is the dam of multiple NSBA World Champions.
“It comes with great happiness and a touch of sadness that I announce the sale of Blue Sky Enterprise. Teddy has been a dream horse since the moment he was born,” says his former owner, Amy Smith. “We knew instantly he was something special. Not only a beautiful mover, but he also had the funniest personality, both of which are still true today.”
When he was a yearling, The Smith’s decided they would save him for Claire Binkowski’s relatively new Premier Sires program. To date, Teddy has earned just shy of $19,000 in this program alone.
“We have been so fortunate along the way to have had the best talent working with Teddy and always keeping his best interest at heart,” Amy shares. Kevin and Amy thank Melanie Thurston, Jeremy May, Allison Clark McDonald, Kelby Hutchinson, Kaitlin LeBlanc, Sydney Miller and Keith Miller. “It truly takes a village for success, and this village is amazing.”
Teddy and Debby will continue with Miller Quarter Horses, which was a significant component in deciding to sell him. “They love him as much as I do,” Amy says.
Debby will be showing Teddy in the Select Amateur Hunter Under Saddle, her daughter, Kristin, will be showing him in the non-pro classes and Keith will pilot him in the open classes. “I can’t thank Keith, Sydney and Amy for making it possible to own Teddy, and last but not least, I need to thank my husband, Brian, for all the last minute flights.”
This talented hunter under saddle gelding is currently leading the nation in NSBA Green and Three Year Old Open events. Teddy was the recent champion of the Fun In The Sun Three-Year-Old Open Futurity, Green Futurity, and Georgia On My Mind Three-Year-Old Open Futurity.
