Well-Respected AQHA Judge and Steward Larry Myerscough Passes

We are saddened to report that longtime AQHA trainer, judge and steward, Larry Myerscough has passed away due to complications with Parkinson’s Disease. A native of Sherman, Illinois, Myerscough was a very well-respected horseman in the industry.

“Larry was one of the fairest men I’ve ever met,” says Troy Compton about his late friend. “He helped me a lot throughout my career. A man of few words but stood his ground. We had a visit at the barbershop the day I left for Congress this year. What a decent man. Godspeed my friend.”

AQHA Judge and Trainer, Dan Trein adds, “Larry was a man of unwavering conviction.”
