Despite the wet weather and muddy conditions, the Keystone Showdown was a great success. Held in Centre Hall, PA at the Grange Park Fair and Equine facility, the show sold out all the stalls and hosted competitors from across the country. It has been the Number 1 Novice show for the past four years. The large class sizes, multiple drawings and awards were a hit with all exhibitors.
“The show management has done a great job running the show despite the weather,” trainer Melissa Henry-Shetler told us. “They have been very accommodating with the schedule and making sure everyone is happy. They also had a nice chicken dinner/exhibitor party on Friday night.”
Trainer Torey Roderick, who had many wins at the show, adds, “This show is always geared towards the exhibitors with lots of prizes, food and points. Great show as always!”
