On Saturday, nearly 600 people came from all over the U.S. to attend the Highpoint Performance Horses Stallion Showcase that featured several top stallions in the industry including Hot Ones Only, The Born Legacy, I Got Em Talkin, Slick By Design, Hubba Hubba Huntin and VS GoodRide.
“We had lines of people entering our drawing for free and discounted breedings,” Highpoint Breeding Manager, Christi Christensen told us. “We had stallion merchandise that went quickly and a line of people in the office signing breeding contracts. It was an exceptional turnout, I and am so happy people got to see the stallions in person, as most of the time, people don’t get to view the stallions in real life. We had so many compliments on the stallion showcase, and numerous people have asked us to make this a yearly event.”
Highpoint’s Jason Martin also talked to us about the showcase. ”It was a beautiful day…almost 60 degrees. We were getting RSVPs all the way up until the event began. We were so happy with the turnout. I loved the fact that people were here shopping for what stallion to breed their mare to. We had a stallion merchandising booth where people could buy stallion merchandise from their favorite stallions at wholesale prices.”
Martin continues, “There was the great smell of BBQ cooking during the event. We had pulled pork and sausage sandwiches along with potato salad, chips and dessert for everyone who attended. The lectures were well attended and seemed to be a big hit. There were people who flew in from Canada, Alaska, Washington, Oregon just to name a few. I think people enjoyed themselves as well as meeting all the other animals.”
