The Illinois Quarter Horse Fall Futurity took place September 15 through the 17th at the Gordyville show grounds in Gifford, Illinois. Judges for the weekend included Liz Baker, Jessica Gilliam, Doug Rath and Brent Tincher.
Some of the big winners for the weekend included the ILQHA Futurity Champion of Champions Weanling, a filly shown by Roseanne Harshbarger. Her filly is sired by Very Cool and out of Miss Gianni. Open Longe Line was won by Kevin Carr and Nodoubt Im Xpensive for owner Darla Shine and David Leavell. Non Pro Longe Line was won by Riveting N Coattails and owner Valerie St Germain. Also picking up a win for the 3-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle Futurity was Brendon Mehochko and Al Amaze You for owner Jennifer Grabow.
The show also featured a Pizza Party thrown by the ILQHA Amateur committee. During the party they held a prize drawing for Amateur members of ILQHA. The winner, Rebecca Volkert, got her entire showbill paid. Circuit Awards included saddle blankets and grooming kits. The All Around Award Winners took home Custom Director’s Chairs.
