The gorgeous stallion, VS Code Blue appears on the December cover of GoMag. “Peyton” is out of the legendary Vital Signs Are Good and by RL Best Of Sudden. Peyton has the proven talent with the bloodlines to match. He is a two-time AQHA high point stallion in the western pleasure and trail, has superiors in both and Top 10 placings at the Congress and AQHA World Show.
In March of this year, Jan Pittman of Panama City, Florida bought the 2007 stallion from Donna Biddulph. Usually, when a stallion starts their breeding career, their showing career has ended. However, Pittman had other ideas. At this year’s Congress, Cody Parrish showed Peyton in the Senior Western Riding. It was Peyton’s first step to making a comeback with only four months of training.

“I was so thrilled with his performance at the Congress because until a few months ago, he hadn’t been ridden in four years,” Pittman told us. “Our plans are for Cody to finish his superior in the western riding so he can receive an AQHA Performance Champion Award.”
Pittman’s Breeding Manager, Scott Kesney adds, “Peyton being in full-blown breeding mode, and then just going back to a show horse, is amazing. I think he looks fantastic in the short amount of time Cody has been riding him.”
In the breeding arena, Peyton is already producing champions including Ona Good Kiss – NSBA World and Sun Circuit champion, My Little Secret – Congress Top 10, Rocking In The Blues – NSBA World Champion, third at Congress and fifth at AQHA World Show in Junior Trail, Im Hot In Blue – third Hylton Maiden, On Doctors Orders – APHA World Champion, and Show Daddy – Top 10 Congress, to name a few.
Foals are eligible for the Western Pleasure Super Sires, Premier Quarter Sires, NSBA BCF and SIF, Southern Belle Breeders, Tom Powers, and APHA Breeders’ Trust.
