Exhibitors marched through the Jim Norick Arena showing their state spirit August 7 at the 2016 Built Ford Tough AQHYA World Championship Show in Oklahoma City.
AQHA President Sandy Arledge led the Parade of Teams on Ode To Zippo, a 2004 black gelding by Zippos Old Gold and out of Mishawum Zipper by Shy Prescription. The gelding is owned by Tatum Richey of The Woodlands, Texas.
After the Parade of Teams, Ford trucks tracked through the arena to loud honks and flashing lights.
AQHA Executive Vice President Craig Huffhines spoke to the group of exhibitors and parents about how roots go deep in AQHA — the theme of the 2016 Ford Youth World.
