The 2016 Pinto World Championship Show is in full swing of competition in Tulsa, Oklahoma. With well over 10,000 entries, this show is only second in size to the All American Quarter Horse Congress and is the world’s largest gathering of Pintos for the 51st annual Pinto World Championship show. The excitement started June 13th and is being held through the 25th.
Equines and exhibitors from around the globe are competing for world titles in multiple disciplines.
“The Pinto Horse Association is thrilled to see the PWC grow each year,” said Darrell Bilke, PtHA Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. “I look forward to seeing great competition and everyone having a great time at our special events.”
Awards range from: Ribbons, Rosette Blankets, Burns Saddlery Saddles and Headstalls, Gist Silversmiths Buckles, Mini Tack Trunk, Kensington Bridle Carrier and Tioga Territory Jackets and Vests.
The PWC is a great event to bring family members and friends. The show is free to attend and will be filled with special events to keep everyone entertained.
Those who love to shop will have an opportunity to check out merchandise from more than 50 vendors at the PWC Market Place. Vendors from all across the country will be selling merchandise such as clothing, home décor and equine products.
In addition to the competition and shopping, several special events will occur at the 13-day show. The Costume Class, Dog Show, Challenged Rider’s Leadline, and Versatilities are always fun to attend. Also be sure to attend the Pinto Heritage Foundation Fundraiser sponsored by Lopez Foods, and Ice Cream Social to have fun with your family and friends. For those who like to draw, the PWC will hold an art contest from June 14-23. There will be two divisions: Youth and Adult. Daily prizes and an overall prize will be awarded.
