Olivia Hoecker of Pine Meadow Quarter Horses is excited to announce the hiring of two new resident trainers, Brian Rastall and Ashley Frappier. Rastall and Frappier were most recently assistant trainers for Jay and Kristy Starnes and have already relocated to Hoecker’s farm in Reddick, Florida.
“I am really excited to have Brian and Ashley come to Pine Meadow and see what we can all accomplish in the future,” says owner, Olivia Hoecker. “I believe they are a great fit. I had already met Brian when he worked for Jay Starnes when he did some of the riding on my stallion, Strutin On The Range. We talked at this year’s Congress and then they came down to the farm. I’m glad we were able to come to an agreement and everything came together for them to join our team.”
Hoecker adds, “I am thrilled to work with someone new that wants to be out on their own, but at the same time have the primary goal of promoting the Pine Meadow stallions and their prospects.”
“Ashley and I are extremely excited about the opportunity that Pine Meadow has presented us with,” Brian Rastall told us. “We look forward to promoting Olivia’s stallions and riding their offspring. As we move on to this next stage in our career, we would like the thank everyone who helped and encouraged us. We feel truly blessed to have such great family, friends and mentors.”
Rastall hails from Chardon, Ohio while Ashley is a native of Framingham, Massachusetts. They both graduated from the University of Findlay and have numerous top five placings at major shows across the country.
Pine Meadow Quarter Horses breeds and raises quarter horses and stands several stallions including Hotroddin Zippo, Strutin On The Range and Hez Plum Poison.
