Actors, Luke Perry and Stephen Baldwin, recently made a guest appearance during the National Finals Rodeo at the Woods’ Western booth at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. They were there to promote the Kimes Ranch Apparel donation to Western Wishes, a nonprofit organization that grants wishes for children who are facing illness and other adversities.
Perry portrayed World Champion bull rider, Lane Frost, in the movie, 8 Seconds, while Baldwin portrayed now three-time World Champion, Tuff Hedeman. Perry says when Western Wishes Founder and President Donnalyn Quintana called him about the Western Wishes organization, he jumped at the opportunity.
This amazing organization rewards the fighting spirit of kids who are faced with adversity and love the western way of life.
“We are a family company that likes to align ourselves with people and causes that touch our core values,” says Amanda Kimes, owner and designer at Kimes Ranch Apparel. “The Western Wishes organization emulates the best parts of the western community. These children are an inspiration and deserve our support and encouragement.”
