HORSE GYM USA’s Technology on Display at Select World

Amarillo, Texas (August 24, 2015)— In celebration of more than ten years of superior quality and design in equine treadmills and therapeutic equipment, HORSE GYM USA® is traveling to horse shows across the U.S. to offer equestrians the opportunity to see the company’s newly improved line of innovative machines.

HORSE GYM USA®’s next stop will be Amarillo, Texas at the 2015 American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) Adequan Select World Championship Show on August 28 – September 5. The upgraded version of the company’s bestselling HORSE GYM USA® | WALK as well as the cutting-edge HORSE GYM USA® | RELAX with SUN solarium will be on display and available to try with your own horse.

Introduced to the U.S. market in 2004, HORSE GYM USA® products have been giving a winning advantage to world-class trainers and riders across equestrian disciplines ever since. The company’s state-of-the-art treadmills and therapeutic equipment are designed to help horses meet the intense demands of high-level equestrian sports. The equipment can be utilized as a safe, customizable daily training program to improve overall health and stamina. Regardless of weather, terrain, or a rider’s abilities, a winning body condition is always attainable with HORSE GYM USA®.

The AQHA Adequan Select World Championships is the pinnacle event for American Quarter Horse amateur riders age 50 and over, who will travel from around the world to compete. These individuals have qualified for the AQHA Adequan Select World Championships by earning a predetermined number of points to compete in each of the classes representing halter, English, and western disciplines. The Tri-State Fairgrounds in Amarillo will host the event, and competitors will vie for 44 world championship titles. HORSE GYM USA® is excited to travel from its home base in Wellington, Florida to Texas to take part in the AQHA Adequan Select World Championships.

The company’s products are sure to be a hit amongst competitors— the quality design, safety features, and easy operation of the company’s original treadmill model, the HORSE GYM USA® | WALK, have made it a favorite among a variety of equestrians, from amateurs to elite professionals. This minimal-maintenance treadmill features a touch screen display with support for multiple languages. Variable speeds up to 9.3 MPH and inclines of 0-10 degrees imitate over-ground conditioning to improve stamina and increase muscle strength, while the smooth, shock-absorbing belt prevents injury from uneven footing. The ability to adjust speed, incline, intensity, and duration means that each session may be expertly tailored to a horse’s specific needs. The all-new WALK comes with ten fixed programs plus slots for up to 100 additional programs.

Built for safety, the WALK features clear shatterproof sides and a foldable viewing station for unobstructed monitoring, a quick-release tail bar, and an adjustable photocell and shock sensor to ensure that the belt stops in the event of unexpected behavior. Additional design improvements include a longer floor and tread, higher sides, an extra layer of shock absorbent material in the floor system, and controls at the head of the horse to allow for safe and easy operation by just one person.

In addition to these design improvements to its original model, HORSE GYM USA® has expanded its line to include innovative new products such as the zero impact conditioning tool HORSE GYM USA® | RELAX with SUN, a unique machine with a vibrating surface and solarium equipped, infrared lamps that can completely dry a wet horse in less than ten minutes. The RELAX with SUN will also be on display at the AQHA Adequan Select World Championships.

This model utilizes three-dimensional movement to evenly distribute pressure throughout the horse’s limbs. Meanwhile, the solarium harnesses infrared technology to direct heat into the horse’s musculature, loosening muscles and increasing both blood circulation and healing rates. Use of the solarium prior to training improves muscle elasticity, making training more effective. In addition, regular use of the RELAX improves digestion and is an effective treatment against colic and general stress symptoms. Like the WALK, the RELAX features an easy-to-use touch screen display with ten fixed programs controlling duration and motion as well as a customizable treatment registry.

For a chance to see the all-new HORSE GYM USA® | WALK and HORSE GYM USA® | RELAX with SUN in action and to learn more about how the innovative technology of these unique machines makes it easier and safer than ever to develop horses to their full potential, 2015 AQHA Adequan Select World Championship Show attendees should visit the trade show area on August 28 – September 5.
