After a very successful show and an increase of at least 50 stalls from last year, the Zone 2 Utah Paint-O-Rama in South Jordan, Utah is set to be the #1 APHA show for the eighth year in a row. The show was held at the Salt Lake County Equestrian Park, May 21-25 where exhibitors hailed from as far away as Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, Louisiana, Delaware and more.
“Being the number one show in the nation for the past seven years is awesome, but also stressful at the same time,” says Show Manager, Terri Dyson Wirthlin. “Our horse show was up in the number of stalls sold this year and we also added Paint horse championship classes to our already large schedule. The Premier Paint Sires futurity was wonderful this year with their entries doubling in size. I must say we have the best crew ever! We had a few challenges this year but handled them like champs. I received amazing words of praise and thanks from the exhibitors. I hope they know we strive to be the best for them. They are our number one priority. Thank you to everyone for their continued support. Keeping our fingers crossed to be #1 in 2015!”
“We appreciate the support of our exhibitors, our sponsors, staff, volunteers and everyone who continues to make the APHA Zone 2 Show such a success each year,” says Marla Fadel, Utah PHC Vice President, the APHA Zone 2 Show Secretary, and the Utah Representative on the Zone 2 Coordinating Committee. “The Utah Paint Horse Club is instrumental to producing this event year after year with the support of the Zone 2 Coordinating Committee, and we’re all proud to represent APHA Zone 2.”
The judges included Holly Hover, Ruth Ellen, Scott Merritt, Joe Carter, Jennifer Thompson, Don Beard, Chris Strine, April Devitt, Casey Devitt, and Chris Arnold.
