The Lucky 7 Classic Horse Show is growing every year due to great show management, fabulous prizes and lots of points up for grabs. This year was the best yet with several six to eight point classes with steep competition in all disciplines. There were approximately 1400 entries per judge with over 8400 entries total for six judges.
The judges for the show included Valerie Kearns, Curtis Reynolds, Liz Haynes, Buddy Fisher, John Briggs and Gigi Bailey. There was a hospitality tent and a snack wagon to treat all the exhibitors with some extra snacks and drinks and well as fun events each night. The Sweet Shoppe made its first appearance all the way from Ohio.
Lucky 7 Classic show manager Patrick Kayser hired the best of the best with Tim Kimura designing and running the trail pen, Robert Standish was the AQHA show steward and Casey Devitt was in charge of the warm up pen. Masterson Farms and Hylton Quarter Horses were well represented as well as top trainers including Tommy Sheets, Ryan Cottingim, Brad Jewett, Michael Colvin, Katy Zuidema, Farley Sliss, and Keith Miller to name a few.
