Gonna Wanna Watchit Shows Huge Potential as Sire

“Gonna Wanna Watchit brings great genetics along with strength, movement and disposition to the breeding barn,” says Amy Gumz of Gumz Farms. “His owner, Pati Shaw, is so committed to introducing this young sire to the discriminating mare owner. She is constantly trying to reach and engage mare owners and work with them to meet their breeding goals.”

Gonna Wanna Watchit is a 15.2 hand, blue roan stallion by Potential Investment and out of Watchit Im Good. “Lil Joe” is standing at Gumz Farms and is the full brother to the late, Watch My Potential, who sired 2014 Congress Champion, Cee Money. This talented gelding is currently being shown by Dan Yeager under the guidance of Highpoint Performance Horses. Both of these outstanding stallions were bred and raised by Pati Shaw, who recently received her 50-year breeding certificate from AQHA.

With the tragic loss of up-and-coming sire, Watch My Potential, Gonna Wanna Watchit will now try to fill the shoes of his late brother, and with his bloodlines–that shouldn’t be a problem. Lil Joe boasts a powerful pedigree with 11 Hall of Fame horses in the first five generations of his pedigree. “He is a proven show horse that is an exciting and promising young sire,” Shaw says. “This is a great opportunity to get some of the best genetics in the business at an unbelievable price.”

Gonna Wanna Watchit’s oldest foal crop is two years-old and they are showing huge promise.  “Lil Joe is super quiet and wonderfully kind. We see that great disposition being passed on to his foals,” Gumz states. “Plus, that pretty roan color doesn’t hurt anything either. I have had great feedback from mare owners on how much they like and enjoy their Lil Joe foals.”

Shaw currently has four of Gonna Wanna Watchit’s two year-olds in training. “Besides great legs and great temperament, his size and looks are two things that really stand out on his babies. They are big and strong two year-olds that can make great futurity prospects,” Shaw states. “The four two year-olds that I have are from a test breeding I did with a cross selection of mares with different bloodlines and I’m not disappointed at all. There’s not a slouch in the bunch. I feel like I’m four-for-four and that’s hard to get done.”

Gonna Wanna Watchit is a Superior Western Pleasure Horse, ROM in Performance Halter, numerous circuit championships in Performance Halter Stallions and Western Pleasure and Top 10 wins at major competitions. Gonna Wanna Watchit is a four-time Top 10 placer in the Performance Halter Stallions at the AQHA World Show, a 2008 Finalist in the Senior Western Pleasure at the AQHA World Show, Top 10 placer in the western pleasure futurities at the Congress, and Reserve Reichert Champion.

This stallion’s 2015 breeding fee is $850. Click here to book your mare online today.
