The March issue of GoMag is the annual Breeding and Foaling issue and it is more than fitting that two of our industry’s most prominent stallions are on the cover of this outstanding issue.
VS Code Red and VS Flatline, owned by the Glover/Galyean Partnership, both epitomize breeding success at its finest. Their dam, the incomparable Vital Signs Are Good, has passed on her winning genes to these two champions. With AQHA World Champion and Congress Champion titles to their long resumes, these two stallions are now are siring future champions of their own.

“The Best Way to Predict Success is to Create it”
Their pedigrees read as a “Who’s Who” of western pleasure families, beginning with Momma – Vital Signs Are Good. With an extensive World and Congress Champion show record, her produce record now puts her at the top of leading dam reports. These two sons are a testament to her legacy.
VS Code Red made history as the first to win both the Non Pro and Open 2 Year Old Western Pleasure at the Congress shown by a Non Pro, owner Kristen Galyean. Western Riding became natural for him, with his lift and graceful strength. He won a unanimous Congress Champion title in Junior Western Riding with Charlie Cole, who described him as “flawless.” Also add the Congress Championship in Green Western Riding, NSBA World Championship Junior Western Riding, and NSBA Breeders Championships.
Waylon, as he is known to his friends and many fans, is proving himself as a sire now. He has had a few foals already shown who are winning futurities and earning NSBA money and AQHA points.
VS Flatline has his own set of credentials as a 5-time Congress Champion in Western Pleasure. He started his show career crowned the AQHA World Champion Two Year Old Western Pleasure. As a 3 year old, he won the NSBA Breeders Championship in both Non Pro and Open (tie) and made his debut in Junior Western Pleasure, winning the NSBA World Championship. At the Congress, he added 3 more wins, including in the very tough Amateur Western Pleasure and unanimous wins in both the NSBA Non Pro and Open 3 Year Old Western Pleasure. Kobe is proving a natural for the western riding as well.
Kobe stood his first year at stud as a three year old, a year earlier than planned due to public demand. His first foals arrived last year.
Both stallions stand at High Point Performance Horses. You can see lots of foal photos on their Facebook pages and view their websites at www.vscodered.com and www.vsflatline.com.
