Horse show competitor Jennifer Kyle of San Rafael, California is running in the San Francisco Marathon in July in honor of the late Stone Pope. Kyle competes with her horse, This Is Why Im Here, in the amateur all around events under the supervision of Nancy Renfro.
“I’ve never met the Pope family, but their loss of Stone and the uprising of support from the horse show community touched me beyond what I ever thought it could,” Jennifer told us. “The Pope family is a true example of strength in the face of tragedy. I’ve chosen the American Heart Association, in the name of Stone, as the charity that I am running for.”
