Go View the December Issue of GoMag Online Now

The December issue of GoMag is a wonderful opportunity for our advertisers to highlight their success from the Congress and/or World Shows, to thank their clients or trainers as well as generate business for the holidays. The December issue also kicks off the beginning of the 2015 breeding season and this issue features many great stallions from different breeds and disciplines from which to choose.

This, the last issue of GoMag in 2014, also gives us a chance to reflect on the past year. GoMag was the first digital magazine of its kind when we launched in 2008. GoMag continues to be the industry leader and we are extremely grateful to all of our loyal customers for making 2014 our strongest year which included our biggest issue ever in October. We look forward to an even better 2015 and wish everyone a happy and healthy holiday season.

About The Cover

Lori Watkins, owner of Black Creek Crossing in Hamilton, Indiana, is enjoying the success of the offspring of her stallions, Pure
Dynamic, The Good Ranger and Vested Pine. Earlier this year, Vested Pine passed away, but his legacy continues in his outstanding offspring such as Congress and World Champion, I Gotta Good Name, owned by Susan Johns and Never Secondary
owned and shown by Kari Grefsrud.

Watkins tells GoHorseShow that she purchased The Good Ranger, who is by Zippos Mr Good Bar, because she believed his heavier bone and greater size would be complimentary to the Pure Dynamic and Vested Pine daughters.

“The Good Ranger has an interesting color combination with his mother being gray and his sire dominant for the roan gene,” Watkins states. “He appears gray but has been tested by UC Davis to carry markers for an alternate roan gene, so he is a special case where the roan is masked by the gray.”

Some of The Good Ranger’s outstanding offspring include AQHA World Champion Trail horse, This Is Why Im Here who was shown to a Top 10 finish at the 2014 AQHA World Show in Amateur Showmanship with owner, Jennifer Kyle. Owned by Cheryl Mullikin, Got My Swag On placed Top Ten in several western pleasure classes at the 2014 Congress with Tanner, Shelby, and Jeff
Cochran.

Watkins’ other stallion, Pure Dynamic is a superior western pleasure horse and now a World Champion sire. He is also homozygous for the black gene so he cannot produce a red based foal. The gorgeous black stallion is sired by the legendary stallion Dynamic Deluxe.

“Pure Dynamic has built his reputation producing athletic, trainable, gorgeous offspring that have longevity in the show pen and the strength of bloodlines that cross well on all other bloodlines,” Watkins states.

Some of Pure Dynamic’s outstanding offspring and winners include 2014 World Champion, RC Dynamic Impulse, owned by Maggie Nipper and Congress and World placers, Pure Goodness, DM Tender Dynamic, Hes Purely Dynamic, and Pure
Royal Heat.

Don’t miss breeding to these talented stallions in 2015. Call Clarice Cooper at (706) 652-2992 for more information.
