Beloved Husband and Friend Don Mundy Passes

GoHorseShow is heartbroken to report the unexpected passing of Karen Evans Mundy’s husband, Don. According to several reports, Karen and Don had just traveled to Tampa, Florida for the Gold Coast and to enjoy some sunny weather. It is believed he suffered a heart attack and stroke.

“If you’ve ever been to a TQHA horse show, there’s a good chance you crossed paths with Don,” said Corrine Gould, Executive Treasurer and Secretary of the Tennessee Quarter Horse Association last night in an email. “He was generous with kindness and laughter. I’ve known the Mundys since I was a child and I knew I could always count on Don to make me smile. This loss will be felt by the entire TQHA family.”

I am just beyond heart broken that my Best Friend, Soul Mate and Husband of over 30 years suddenly and tragically passed away on Saturday December 20, 2014 and went to be with our Lord.
