Day 3–Y.E.S Conference, Wednesday, July 9th, 2014
Well everybody today is the last day of the Youth Excellence Seminar (YES) and our leader Robin Alden again kept us very busy. More campaigning, elections, forums and a trip to Grand Station. Five officers were elected from the thirty-three regional directors that were elected yesterday. I just had the chance to talk to the newly elected president, Kalee McCann from Mississippi and she said it is going to be very exciting to serve AQHYA as president. We are now finishing up our evening with a concert and some karaoke. Thank you AQHYA for a great event and thank you Gohorseshow for letting me report on it. Well that is all that I he for this event, Hope to see everyone at future events and next month in Oklahoma City for the Youth World Show! Have a safe trip home, Max DeMint
Day 2–Y.E.S Conference, Tuesday, July 8th, 2014
Hi everybody! Max DeMint here on Tuesday, Day 2 of the Youth Excellence Seminar. Today we were very busy, we took buses to Brazos County Expo Center and had a clinic with Mark Dunham. We also had elections for regional directors, it was really cool looking at all of the campaign posters and meeting all the candidates. We finished off the afternoon with a shopping trip to Cavenders. Everyone is saying that they are having a blast and tonight we are all getting excited for dance night! Well, that is all that I have for now, I’ll be back again tomorrow with more news from Y.E.S.

Day 1–Y.E.S. Conference, Monday, July 7, 2014

Max DeMint reporting here from Bryan, Texas for the 2014 Youth Excellence Seminar. For those who are not familiar with Y.E.S., this is an event where members of the American Quarter Horse Youth Association gather for activities like listening to guest speakers, national officer and director elections, and a lot of other cool stuff. While all of this is about to begin, I had an opportunity to talk to Calyn Halvorson and Sawyer Seago both from Oklahoma, and I also met  Austin Gemar from Nebraska and Austin Ralls from Virginia and they are all very excited for YES as well. That is all that I have for now but remember to check in daily for more news straight from The Youth Excellence Seminar!
