Retired AQHA Judge & National Director Wayne Boyter Passes

Wayne Boyter passed away on June 14, 2104, in Pine Bluff, AR. He was 83. Wayne was a former judge, national director, many time past President of the Arkansas Quarter Horse Association and Arkansas Youth Advisor. He was active in the quarter horse industry from the late 1960’s until 1986 when his wife died of cancer. Wayne then retired from judging, but he continued to keep up with the industry until his death through his granddaughter showing. He developed many friends through horse showing and still asked about the old friends each time his granddaughter returned from a show. His daughter Elizabeth Boyter Turner and granddaughter Sabrina Turner reside in Gulfport, MS. 

The family asks that memorials go to the AQHA Foundation Woodruff Youth Scholarship Fund,
