The Redbud Spectacular is currently underway in Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma–May 29-June 8th. The show features eight set of points with nine AQHA all-around judges including Jeff Allen, Dolly Chayer, Jessica Gilliam, Jennifer Leckey, Kim Myers, Nancy Alto Renfro, Beckey Schooler, Jennifer Thompson, and Terry Thompson.
“The weather has been awesome, a little hot at times, but not miserable. No tornadoes, yet,” Carey Nowacek says laughing referring to the tornadoes that shut down the show last year. “Classes are pretty good sized; there were 28 in the Amateur Horsemanship. It has been a pretty relaxing horse show because the schedule is great and we aren’t having any late nights. Hopefully the rest of the show will continue the same way.”
