Engineers contracted by Oklahoma City say the Norick Arena roof has reached its shelf life. The city will replace the existing roof for aesthetic and safety reasons.
Oklahoma City Public Works spokesperson Shannon Cox says the estimated cost is $1,128,014.00.
“We will start construction at the end of the month,” said Cox. “Hopefully we’ll be done within four months.”
Documents obtained by KOCO 5 state engineers found leaks in the current roof. The city says that damage was a result of last years storm on May 31.
