AQHA Exhibitor’s Nebraska Hometown Devastated by Twin Tornadoes

AQHA Exhibitor Ashley Marie Labenz’s hometown of Pilger, Nebraska was destroyed by two colossal tornadoes yesterday. According to CNN, seventy-five percent of the town has been destroyed. Labenz’s sister’s and grandparent’s houses were destroyed by the two rare twisters that barreled through the town simultaneously. So far, two people have died from the storms.

“It has been more than crazy!” says Labenz, who talked to GoHorseShow right after the tornadoes hit her hometown. “Many of you have asked how you can help. I have shared a link for our town where a disaster fund has been set up. I have also set up a separate disaster fund for my family at Midwest Bank in Norfolk, Nebraska. The account is set up under, ‘Labenz Tornado Fund’. All bare necessities are needed for the entire town.”
You can mail donations to Midwest Bank to help the Labenz Family at the address below:

You may also call the bank directly at 402-371-5200 and speak to Jordan or you may donate online by clicking here.
“Thank you all so much for the prayers and support. I am driving back to be with the family today,” Labenz states.
