PF Candids from 2014 AQHA Convention in New Orleans, LA
The first day of the 2014 AQHA Convention concluded with the AQHA President’s Reception at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans. In true New Orleans style, there was a jazz band, the tables were decorated with mardi gras beads and masks, and the buffet tables were full of food that included beignets, crawfish and jambalaya. Clark Parker, Kelley Roberts and Robert Meneely were honored as professional horsemen/horsewomen of the year during the year-end banquet on Saturday evening. The AQHA Political Action Committee raised about $30k at their annual reception and the American Quarter Horse Foundation surpassed its $10 million fundraising goal by raising $150,000 at their benefit luncheon. Ralph Seekins from Alaska is also the newly elected member of the AQHA Executive Committee.
