Meet Pine View Farms’ First Foals of the Season

Meet Charlie! “He is just about the cutest guy going!” Debbi Trubee says. Charlie is the second Lazy Loper born at Pine View Farms this year. (pictured right) Charlie is out of One Blonde Moment (Hotroddin Zippo) and is owned by Rhonda and Buddy Malone from Orange, California. Charlie is also eligible for triple registry being AQHA/APHA and Buckskin eligible, that makes it even more fun when they are Color eligible.

Pine View Farms’ first filly born by Lazy Loper out of My Invested Machine is already sold. Her name is Chilly (pictured below) because she was born when it was -13 with -40* wind chill!

“I just knew one of the mares would pick that night to foal and sure enough, three weeks early, My Invested Machine thought it would be a good night to have a baby,” Trubee recalls. “Thank goodness for heated barns!”

Pine View Farms is expecting 35+ foals this year total with farm mares and outside mares that come to the farm to foal out and be bred.

“Foaling season is absolutely our favorite time at Pine View,” Trubee says. “It’s so exciting to see what the Mama’s have been cooking for 11 months. We’re looking forward to a great crop this year.”
