APHA’s John Simon to Stand at Schroeder Ranch in 2014

“When it comes to conformation, pedigree, mindset, movement and achievement John has it all,” says owner, Erin Bradshaw. “He is the total breeding package. There are not a lot of APHA western pleasure studs that can say they’ve won both the western pleasure and the halter stallions at the APHA World Show.”
In 2014, John Simon will be standing at Schroeder Ranch, Inc. in Gainesville, Texas, under the watchful eye of leading breeder, Joan Schroeder. John is a multiple World Champion 2006 Bay and White Tobiano Stallion that stands 15’2 hands. He is by APHA multiple World Champion sire Special Invitation by Invitation Only. John Simon’s Dam, Sensational Leaguer, is a multiple World and NSBA Champion, has over $100,000 in lifetime earnings, and is by NSBA Hall of Fame sire Zippos Sensation.
“This has been one of the greatest journeys in my life so far,” Bradshaw states. “John was the first young horse we purchased and to watch him grow up and mature into what he has become today is one of the greatest blessings I could have been given. I have had a passion for horses since I was a little girl and John has been a part of achieving all of my dreams. He is truly one-of-a-kind and a part of our family.”
The Bradshaw’s and Schroeder Ranch are looking forward to the 2014 offspring that will be arriving any week now. According to Bradshaw, once the foals start to arrive; each breeder receives a “goody box” as their little way of saying, “thank you”. Items last year included; hats, smartphone touch point pens, a go green carry bag, and koozies.
“We make a commitment to all of John’s offspring and do our best to stay in touch with breeders and keep the public up-to-date with pictures and videos,” Erin says. “With the team we have together to promote and stand John we see the sky as the limit for him. Everything at Schroeder Ranch is conducted in a manner to assure our breeders an exceptional experience. We sincerely thank our breeders, fans, believers and horse industry for supporting this young stud on his journey to becoming a sire.”
The 2014 breeding fee for John Simon is $1,250. A booking fee of $500 is due from mare owner upon execution of the breeding contract and the balance of $750 is due upon invoice by breeder to mare owner or prior to mare leaving the premises of Schroeder Ranch, whichever occurs first.
