Brama Farms of Stillwater, Minnesota is offering a breeding to five-time APHA World Champion, FLEET MACHINE, for the direct benefit of the livestock producers impacted by the devastation of the Storm Atlas blizzard. They are extending the Storm Atlas Relief Auction to Wednesday at 8:00pm. Because the proceeds will be going to a relief fund, they want everyone to get a fair shot at bidding. If you have any questions, call or text 507-202-1994.
All proceeds of this auction will be received by the Black Hills Area Community Foundation and it’s beneficiary: The South Dakota Rancher Relief Fund, est. Oct. 8, 2013.
“As those in the industry of horses, we have great sympathy for the unfathomable intangible and extraordinary tangible losses of South Dakota’s ranching community,” says the Brama Family. “Together, it is our hope that this breeding donation can make a difference and will bring further awareness to the catastrophe of Storm Atlas.”
The Auction Proceeds will go to: BHACF/SD Rancher Relief Fund
The South Dakota Rancher Relief Fund was established on October 8, 2013 by Black Hills Area Community Foundation to provide support and relief assistance to those in the agriculture industry impacted by the blizzard of October 4-7, 2013.
The fund will be administered by BHACF in cooperation with the South Dakota Stockgrowers Association, the South Dakota Cattlemen’s Association and the South Dakota Sheep Growers Association for the direct benefit of the livestock producers impacted by this devastating blizzard.
As of 2014 the Brama Family will not be standing Fleet Machine to the public. Due to his age and the amount of mares the farm has already, his book is plentiful and it is in the best interest of his future. This will be your only opportunity to book a date with your mare and Fleet Machine.
