Pamela Bilek Sells Huntin Big Dreams to Angela Wade

GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Angela Wade of New York, New York on purchasing Huntin Big Dreams (Clint), the 2012 NSBA Horse of the Year, from Pamela Bilek of Chino Hills, California.

“I guess I should be happy, but he has brought so much to my life,” says Pam, about being sad to sell her beloved gelding. “However, I can’t wait to see him continue his career and be so happy with his new owners.”

Huntin Big Dreams is a 2007 gray gelding by Huntin For Chocolate and out of Ima Bodacious Dream by Docs Bodacious. He was bred by Charles and Jeannie Pircher of Rio Medina, Texas. Pamela Bilek, who owned the stallion Huntin For Chocolate at one point, purchased Clint as a yearling and has enjoyed watching him grow and mature.

“For those of you that have ever been to Disneyland then you will understand when I compare owning Huntin Big Dreams to an E-Ticket ride at Disneyland,” says, owner Pam Bilek. “His career has been so exciting and rewarding. I had no idea what the future held when that little grey stud stepped off the trailer. Clint has become a gentle and kind champion in every way. He has earned all the love and treats he gets after each class, and I loved spoiling him rotten but he was always a gentleman.”

Huntin Big Dreams’ 2012 NSBA horse of the year honor was richly deserved with back-to-back wins in the Junior Western Pleasure at the Congress, AQHA 2012 Junior Western Pleasure World Champion, 2012 Congress Markel Open Maturity Western Pleasure Champion, and 2012 AQHA High Point Junior and Open Western Pleasure Horse in the nation.

Additionally, Pamela is thankful for trainers Jason Martin and Charlie Cole of Highpoint Performance Horses. “They are my idols,” she says. “Not only are they great trainers but they are very honest, hard working and want the best for me as their client. I am very fortunate to be a part of their program. I credit Clint’s success to the efforts of Adam Wainscott who just happens to be the nicest kid I’ve ever met. Adam truly was grateful to be riding Clint and the two of them had a long and wonderful career together. They were an amazing team and just had that certain click that it took to make champions.”

Jason Martin adds, “Clint is the perfect AQHA pleasure horse–level top line, natural mover with great expression. We have enjoyed being a part of this great horse’s career. We want to thank Pam Bilek for being a great friend and a perfect client. We are thrilled for Adam Wainscott that Clint gets to return to someone who loves and appreciates him. We will be cheering them on in the future.”

Wainscott, who recently went out on his own, is also appreciative of the chance to ride Clint. “He loves the pleasure and enjoys his job. He was so consistent, and never cheated me in the show pen. He’s a happy-go-lucky kind of a horse, and I was so happy to win so many awards for his owner, Pam Bilek,” Adam states. “Obviously, I am excited to get him back but I’m more excited to see the future unfold for Angela. They are going to make a great team.”
