Brian and Kim Brandriet of Conifer Quarter Horses would like to announce that their two outstanding breeding stallions, Macs Good N Plenty and Ty will be offered for sale at the Congress Super Sale on Oct. 20, 2013 in Columbus, Ohio. Gordon Wadds from Michigan will be assisting the family with the sale.
The Brandriet’s would like to thank everyone that have supported these wonderful stallions throughout the years through breeding, raising, purchasing, training, judging and showing offspring sired by Macs Good N Plenty and Ty.
“We have cherished our opportunity to own one of the Top Leading Sires in the Western Pleasure industry for over 13 years and with that pleasure we have made many, many friends and have made a lot of fond memories,” says Brian and Kim Brandriet. “This will be a very emotional time for us as Mac and Ty are super sweet horses and they are both so easy to fall in love with.”
In the past few years, the family has had substantial growth in their other business ventures combined with time and some health restraints, it has made it very difficult to do justice to their breeding program.
Macs Good N Plenty is on the AQHA Leading Sire list and is also a Congress Champion in Western Pleasure. Mac comes from strong bloodlines. He is a 15.1 hand, 1997 dark brown Stallion by Zippos Mr Good Bar and out of Macs Debutante. Mac has been tested (does not possess the disease-causing gene) for HERDA and GBED and is N/N for HYPP.
Mac has sired champions in western pleasure, western riding, trail, hunter under saddle, halter, showmanship, hunter hack, pleasure driving and even some Ranch events. He has sired multiple NSBA World Champions; Congress and AQHA World and Reserve Champions; AQHA World Top 10’s and World Finalists as well as 26-time PHBA World Champions; 12-time Reserve PHBA World Champions; Multiple Pinto World and Buckskin World Champions and many AQHA, APHA and PHBA Superior Point Earners; Several AQHA Champions as well as numerous ROM earners.
Macs Good N Plenty possesses the conformation, pedigree and ability to sire offspring which makes him one of the greats! Sire of some of his Champion offspring include, Heavenly Mac, Mac In Time, Givin Up The Goods, Just Good N Plenty, Plenty of Tats Rhythm, PQH Good N Flashy, Good N Dandy Mac, Macs Good N Macho & Heza Macs All Star just to name a few. Mac is a top keading sire in both AQHA and NSBA.
“Mac dominantly stamps his babies with his gorgeous head, modern elegant movements with great jogs and lopes along with big hips,” owner, Kim Brandriet of Watertown, South Dakota says. “One of his finest qualities which is passed onto his foals, is his temperament. He is the kindest, most gentle stallion you could ever ask for and his offspring follow in his footsteps.”
Their other young stallion, Ty, is a 15.3 hand, 2004 seal dark brown stallion by Macs Good N Plenty, whose first foals were born in 2007 and are already winning in the show arena. Kim Brandriet is very proud of the young sire, Ty, as well. “Ty is absolutely gorgeous to look at and his movements are a ten all the way and that trait is passed onto his offspring,” she proudly says. “Ty’s disposition is just like his daddy’s and they don’t come any better minded. You wait a lifetime for a colt like Ty to come around. His colt’s are a bit slower to mature than Mac’s, and they develop into outstanding all around horses.”
“We are requesting that one of conditions of the Sale is that all of the customers that have a rebreed coming for the 2014 breeding season will have their contracts honored,” the Brandriet’s state. “We sincerely appreciate all of your business, friendship and support during the time period that we have stood our stallions. We could not have had much success without you!”
