Kathy Tobin Purchases Congress Champion RA Undisputed

GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Kathy Tobin of Scottsdale, Arizona on her recent purchase of Congress 2011 Junior Trail champion, RA Undisputed (Coco). The 2006 sorrel gelding is by Chips Hot Chocolate and out of Are You Zipped. He was bred by Joe and Suzy Jeane of Valley View, Texas. Tobin purchased Coco from select amateur Diana Davidson who trained with Chad Evans of Elizabeth, Colorado.

Coco has amassed over 1000 points in his career. At their first show together, Tobin finished qualifying Coco for the Select World Show in the western riding and trail at the show in Del Mar, California. The new duo were also circuit champions in Select Western Riding and Western Pleasure, and Kathy was Reserve Circuit Champions in the horsemanship behind her sister, Susie Johns.

“I would like to thank Diana and Chad for allowing me the honor of buying such a great one– he’s amazing,” Tobin says about Coco. “He’s very kind and loves his peppermints. I feel honored to have been able to purchase such a great one. I had always admired him. He is very forgiving of my mistakes, and he takes care of me in trail and western riding too. He thinks for me by adjusting his stride over trail poles if I’m slightly off stride, so, he is way smarter than I am. He is just so much fun–any mistakes we make are one hundred percent my fault, strictly pilot error!”

During his early show career, RA Undisputed won over $50,000 during his two year-old career with a Reserve Congress Championship in the Two Year-Old Limited Futurity, Champion Southern Belle Futurity, Reserve Reichert Champion, and third place at the AQHA World Show in the Two Year-Old Western Pleasure.

We look forward to seeing Kathy and Coco at the upcoming shows the rest of the year!
