Hot Ones Only (HOO) is a proud sire with the recent win of his son, Hoos Your Daddy (Edward) at the NSBA World Show. The 2011 bay stallion out of Pretti Woman and owned by Tammy Dyer of Pilot Point, Texas were champions in the BCF Two Year-Old Limited Non Pro Hunter Under Saddle. The duo also shared the Open Non-Pro title with Laura Bracken and Heza Sophistication.
Hoos Your Daddy Wins Debut with Tammy Dyer in the Irons
“He is great minded and acts like a four or five year-old,” says Dyer who was showing in place of her daughter, Sharnai Thompson. “My ride was so good, and he just packed me around. Hunter under saddle is tough for me because I am so out of shape. I am 50 years-old and could stand to lose a few pounds,” Tammy says and laughs. “Pretty good for a fifty year old to show a two year-old, especially his first time shown ever. I had two firsts, a second and a third. I was just thrilled. This is normally Sharnai’s job, but now that she has a real job–I have to step up.”
According to Dyer, Edward is a lot like his eight-time AQHA World Champion sire. “Edward hangs his head and neck and just locks in and is great minded just like his daddy. We are more than thrilled about his babies.”
Other Hot Ones Only babies being shown at the NSBA World include Hoo Loves Ya Baby who tied to win the Three Year Old Open Hunter Under Saddle with Beth Case in the irons, and later today, Case is showing a different HOO two year-old in the hunter under saddle, Only Blue Couture.
“His babies are having a great show. We are very proud of them and excited for all of the Hot Ones Only foal owners,” Tammy states. “As far as Edward, our future goal is to sell him to another great show home.”
GoHorseShow congratulates Tammy on a job well done and looks forward to seeing more Hot Ones Only babies in the winner’s circle.
