Rodrock Candids and Results from Gordyville Shootout

The Gordyville Shootout and AQHA show took place July 25th through the 28th in Gifford, Illinois. There were four AQHA shows, the annual shootout, and NSBA Futurity Classic.

Anna Terry won the Shootout Western Pleasure class while Tanya Relander ended up reserve champion. The Shootout Showmanship winner was Thad O’Boyle and Little Foot. Silver spurs were awarded to the all-around winners and circuit awards were given out to all AQHA, Small Fry and Equestrian with Disabilities Classes. It turned out to be a great show with over 1500 entries in just the first two days.

“The weather was great, and we showed most classes outside which was nice,” trainer, Joni Nelson told GoHorseShow. “Most classes were at least two to three points.”
