Amy Darnell Weds Todd Fobbe

Congratulations to AQHA
and NSBA non-pro exhibitor Amy (Darnell) and Todd Fobbe who were married May 18
at the Oak Ridge Hotel in Chaska, Minnesota. “Todd and I met about four years
ago; we are from neighboring small towns and attended the same high school. We had never met, but our paths crossed
on a dance floor the night before one Thanksgiving and our lives changed
forever,” says the new bride.

Some of Amy’s horse show
friends in attendance were Wayne and Judy Davis, Alan Donnell and April
Salisbury, Jim and Joni Roth, Peter and Helen Frost, Heinie and Donna Hendley,
Claire Binkowski, Kerry Bradac and Lana Grefsrud. The wedding photographer was Mallory Beinborn of Impulse Photography.

According to Amy,
“Todd is not a horse-guy but supports my passion and respects what I do. Every once in a while I can talk him
into coming to a horse show but his family business, Fobbe Electric is
extremely busy and time away is rare.
After the wedding, we went to Las Vegas for a few days to relax and get
away. We are hoping to go on a
long beach vacation this winter – after futurity season, of course! I look forward to seeing my ‘horse show
family’ at the summer events and am hoping to get Todd to another show or two!”
