Congratulations to Gil Galyean and Eazy Dayzie (Dayzie) on winning the Three Year Old $2,500 Limited Horse Western Pleasure Signature Class at the Show For Dough! The 2010 bay mare is by Lazy Loper and out of Don’t Pass Over and owned and raised by Wayne and Jennifer Holt of Argyle, Texas. The total payout for the class was $19,000, and Galyean and Dayzie received $8,550 for winning the class.
“I was thrilled with her win yesterday and today is even more amazing!” says, owner Jennifer Holt. “My little girl dreams are coming true. Thank you, Carl Yamber, for buying Don’t Pass Over for us all those years ago and for being such an incredible friend. I know this isn’t like winning the Congress, but I was there for Eazy Dayzie’s first breath and have loved her from her very first day. God is good and we are blessed. This win will forever be cherished and honored in memory of Jeff Garber.”
Gil Galyean says that he was pleased on how well Dayzie showed in the class. “She first started out a little immature, but now she has started to develop into a nice pretty mare with great eye appeal and cadence. She is willing and kind and we look forward to her future. The addition of more three year-old classes in the industry has given us a place to wait and show horses like Dayzie that may need a little more time.”
Galyean adds, “We are also very impressed by the show facility, and the fact that the show pays out extremely well. Show management has been very exhibitor friendly, and you can tell that the exhibitors are their priority. Everyone I have talked to says that they will be back and will encourage more people to come next year.”
The total payout for the class was $19,000.
1st Place-Gil Galyean and Eazy Dayzie– $8,550
2nd Place–Dawn Baker and Just A Little Lazy– $6,650
3rd Place– David Archer and With Only A Touch–$3,800

“The show is going fantastic,” says Brad Jewett, one of the founders of the first annual Show for Dough. “The weather is great, and the exhibitors are our priority and I think they’re feeling that way! We can’t thank them enough for coming and supporting our show. In the first day and a half of showing, we have paid out $12,600.00.”
GoHorseShow is pleased to announce their involvement with this exciting new show created just for the exhibitor. The first annual, Show for Dough, which is an NSBA approved event, is currently underway and being held May 8th through the 12th in Tunica, Mississippi.
“The inaugural $how for Dough has drawn a deep crowd of the most competitive horses, trainers and exhibitors in our industry,” says Jennifer Simpson, GoHorseShow’s Director of Sales, who is attending the event. “It’s definitely a show of who’s who! Brad and his crew couldn’t be nicer or more accommodating and plans are already in the works to make the payouts even bigger and better next year. Great job to the Show for Dough crew on this new and rewarding concept.”
GoHorseShow is a sponsor of this new event and we are thrilled to be co-sponsors with Equine Mega Omega of the $10,000 added $2500 Limited Three Year-Old Pleasure Class.
“What makes our horse show stand alone is our one hundred percent payback policy,” says Brad Jewett, who along with David Dellin and Charles Cannizzaro are the three founders of the show. “In other words, one hundred percent of your entry fee goes back into the purse–that goes for the all around events as well.”
