Congress Champion sire, Lopin Slow (Ace), is fired up to be back breeding to the public this year. Due to other commitments from the owners, Ace, who is by Leaguers Sandman and out of Bears Raisin Kane, has not been actively promoted the past few years.
The 1997 bay stallion is a 3/4 brother to Invitation Only and is the earner of 550 AQHA points with Superiors in western pleasure, western riding, hunter under saddle and all-around. He has sired Congress Champions and World Show Top Tens. Ace recently sired the unanimous 2011 Congress Novice Youth 13&U Western Pleasure Champion, My Bowtie Affair.
“I can’t help but smile every time I see him,” says breeding manager, Shelley Rystrom of Trumbull, Nebraska, who is currently standing the stallion for 2013. “He is great minded and so nice to be around. It is also rare to be around a stallion that has multiple superiors in several different events. It takes a great minded and versatile individual to be able to excel in so many events and the fact he is a stallion makes it even more impressive. I have been blessed to be entrusted with his care.”
In addition to Ace’s impressive show record, his offspring have also made a name for themselves in the show arena. Ace is the sire of 334 foals who have earned 1,536 plus AQHA points and have earned 83 All-Arounds and 63 Reserve All-Arounds. He has also sired multiple World Champions, multiple Reserve World Champions, Congress Champion and Reserve Congress Champion, multiple superior event horses, futurity winners and year end winners.
Lopin Slow’s breeding fee is $1250 which includes his first shipment. His foals are eligible for the AQHA Incentive Fund, and Go For The Gold. There are also special considerations to Superior and World or Congress Top Ten earners or producers. World and Congress Champion winners breed for free!
