GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Select Amateur Maggie Bellville of Atlanta, Georgia on the purchase of 2012 Congress Green Western Pleasure Champion, My Only Good Shoes (Dottie) from William Aichele, Sr of Perkasie, Pennsylvania. The 2009 red roan mare is by Invitation Only and out of a daughter of Zippos Mr Good Bar.
“It was love at first sight a year ago when I saw her make her debut in the Hylton Maiden Class at the Virginia Classic,” recalls Bellville, an AQHA World Champion who currently shows Bud Light Please in the Select Amateur events. “A year later, I fell in love all over again, but, then, I rode her. She is sweet, kind and adorable. With the help of Jeff Long, I hope to get her qualified for the Select World Show in the western pleasure. Jeff will show her this year as well. After that–on to all around world and Rob Meneely!”
Former owner, Liz Hay is also looking forward to watching this new team. “I am very excited to see what the future holds for this amazing pair, and I will be cheering them on,” Hay states. “Watch for them in Select Amateur Western Pleasure and Performance Halter Mares!”
In addition to beating over 100 head of horses to win the Congress last year in the Green Western Pleasure, Dottie placed tenth in a deep Amateur Western Pleasure class at the 2012 AQHA World Show with Liz Hay in the saddle.
