The fifth annual Quad Cities Hearts for Horses Benefit will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2013. The event will take place from 7pm to Midnight in the Starlight Ballroom on the Mississippi Valley Fairgrounds, Davenport, Iowa.
The fundraiser will benefit the Hooved Animal Rescue & Protection Society (HARPS). The Hooved Animal Rescue & Protection Society is based in Barrington, Illinois and is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of neglected and abused hooved animals.
The benefit will feature live music from Corporate Rock. Founded by Brad Brenny in 1996, this 3-piece power rock trio has played over 250 shows at nearly every venue in Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois. The band opened for Ted Nugent in 2002 and currently plays with some of the best regional bands. Brad Brenny went to Musicians Institute in Hollywood California for the Guitar Institute of Technology programs from 2003-2004. C.J. Cervantes is the driving force behind the band and Dwight Nyquist keeps the low end thumpin’ on the bass guitar! Corporate Rock plays party songs from every Genre of music that you will recognize.
In addition to dancing, the event offers a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle and a silent auction. All proceeds from the ticket sales and auction will benefit HARPS. Tickets are $10 and may be purchased at the door. For more information click here.
