The high seller in the sale was Rojo Solo Cup, bred and consigned by Joan Schroeder of Gainesville,
Texas. A red roan yearling stallion by Born To Be Blazing and out of
Such Good Potential by Potential Investment, Rojo Solo Cup sold for
$81,000. After completing a 30-day quarantine, the yearling is headed to
Jagfeld Quarter Horses in Germany.
For the 2012 AQHA World Show Sale, the 80 horses sold
totaled $692,650, with an average price of $8,658.13; 29 horses were
repurchased for a total of $378,550 and an average price of $13,053.45. In
total, 109 transactions were completed for a total of $1,071,200 and an average
price per horse of $9,827.52.
