Reid Thomas of Thomas Performance Horses is pleased to announce the purchase of the successful training business SHOWSTRING, owned by Scott Jones and David Miller.
Thomas Performance Horses is taking a bold and innovative step towards non-traditional equine business management by patterning the merger after specialized groups in the medical and legal fields.
Expanding its already successful business model, Thomas Performance Horses will provide a greater level of service for customers and their horses. SHOWSTRING, well known for success in the all-around and English arenas, has been based out of Oneco, Connecticut.
The acquisition comes with a merger of the training businesses, and Thomas, Jones and Miller will operate out of Double Diamond Ranch in Boerne, Texas, under the name SHOWSTRING as of January 1, 2013. The newly formed SHOWSTRING will continue to focus on all-around events as well as futurity horses and fence events.
