The Summer Sizzler in Montgomery, Alabama this past weekend was indeed hot! The judges were Pam Scott, Brad Gibby, Whizzer Baker, Louie Hufnagel, Bill Springer and Steve Lackey.
The show awarded $500 cash for the Open, Amateur, Select Amateur All Arounds and $250 cash for the 13 & Under, 14-18, Novice Youth & Novice Amateur All Arounds. They also offered Palomino classes and sold close to 450 stalls.
The Association auctioned off a miniature donkey, Thumbalina, at the exhibitor’s party to benefit the ALQHYA. She was donated by Dr. Ginger Alred of Mystic Highland Farms and was purchased by Betty Rich.
