GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Olivia Hoecker of Pine Meadow Quarter Horses on the purchase of two-time AQHA World Champion western pleasure mare, Radical Rumors (Annie). Purchased from Annelise Kimmel, Olivia and the 1997 bay mare by Radical Rodder and out of Platinum Flash will be showing under the guidance of Brandon Burr in the Select Amateur Western Pleasure.
“I’m looking forward to showing her this summer at a few shows,” new owner Olivia Hoecker told GoHorseShow. “We bought her mainly as a broodmare, and I think she will be a great asset for Pine Meadow. She has done well in the open, youth, and amateur western pleasure, and I thought it may be fun for me to show her in the Select Amateur Western Pleasure. I haven’t shown in quite awhile, and I look forward to getting back in the show arena.”
Radical Rumors has earned over 1000 points and earnings of over $103,000
and AQHA Incentive Fund earnings of $21,714.97. In 2001, Annie won the
Amateur Western Pleasure with Cami Maleca and Junior Western Pleasure with Ty Hornick at the AQHA World Show. She is
also a two-time Reserve World Champion Western Pleasure horse. In 2003,
she was the Senior Western Pleasure High Point horse in the nation.
Hoecker adds, “I have always admired Annie, and considered purchasing her earlier in her career. When the opportunity came up to buy her again, I thought she would be a perfect fit for our farm.”
Former trainer, Karen Hornick is happy that Annie found a great home. “Olivia will have great respect for her and make the right decisions on when and where to show her. That mare is so special to Ty and me. We love you Annie!”
Hoecker and her four year-old gelding, MNZ Invitation, will also be showing in the Select Amateur Pleasure where the duo made their debut at the Virginia Classic. The 2008 bay gelding is by Hoecker’s stud, Mr Notibily Zippo, and out of Shes Invited. In 2010, he placed fifth at the AQHA World Show in the Two Year-Old Western Pleasure. “I look forward to showing two great horses this year,” Olivia says.
