Invitation Only Frozen Semen Available for Oocyte Breeding

Pine View Farm, home of Invitation Only and Lazy Loper, is pleased to announce that Invitation Only frozen semen is available for oocyte breeding. The ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) program is becoming more and more common place with mare owners of great mares who are otherwise unable to produce a viable embryo going to the major reproduction centers to have oocyte aspirations done on their mares.

“We also have supplied semen from Lazy Loper for mares that were euthanized and had their ovaries harvested and eggs removed and fertilized which have resulted in foals for their owners,” says Pine View Farm General Manager Debbi Trubee.

Equine Medical Services in Columbia, Missouri, Texas A&M and Colorado State are three great programs offering this service, Debbi says.

“We have worked with all three programs,” Trubee explains. “Texas A&M just did a successful fertilization with Invitation Only frozen semen and the first embryo produced was transferred to the recipient mare this weekend.”
