Would you like to be featured in an equestrian reality television series? A major television production company is looking for equestrian trainers, riders, and families willing to put their lives in the national spotlight on a network reality television show.
“Specifically, I’m looking for the best trainers in the business as well as families who are putting a lot on the line to make sure their children are at the top of their game in the sport,” Peter Huntley, a casting director for the major television production company told GoHorseShow. “It can be either male or female trainers, but they can’t be afraid to speak their minds and they need to be no nonsense and straight to the point. We don’t want a Mr. Rogers!” Huntley says laughing.
Huntley explains that, ideally, he is looking for a trainer that has a big personality that works with children under 13 years of age that has built in clientele. However, the casting director also says that some episodes could feature several families during major competitions in the series. Both english and western trainers and riders are encouraged to submit their information.
“If you have dedicated your life to the sport and are doing everything in your power to make sure your child rises to the top, we want to hear from you!” Huntley says.
