Effective for the qualifying periods for the American Quarter Horse Association’s 2012 world championship shows, horses will now be required to earn performance points during the respective world show qualifying period in order to earn an invitation to compete in performance halter at any AQHA world show.

We are excited that leading exhibitors, Jonathan Nowacki, who won the All-Around Novice Youth title at the 2010 Congress aboard RL Sudden Image and Darcy Reeve, who is best known as showing A Certain Vino to multiple Congress and World Champions, will be reporting for GoHorseShow throughout the Congress. Certified Sport Consultant, Kirsten Farris, has written on numerous topics for GoHorseShow.com.  With the added stress of the Congress, APHA and AQHA World Shows, the relationship between Trainer and Client will most likely be tested. Farris believes that the relationship between riders and trainers is similar to a marriage.  Hear each side of the story from a fictitious Client and Trainer and then from the "Marriage" Counselor.

The Q11 show was held from September 29th through October 9th in Aachen, Germany. The show was held at the famous CHIO Aachen, known for the 2006 World Equestrian Festival. The judges for the show were Karen Banister, Cindy Chilton-Moore, Bill Englund, Lita Hottel, Chris Kozlowski, and Andrea Santini.
