The All American Quarter Horse Congress showcases some of the best horse and rider combinations in the world. These awards include six All-Around awards, one each for Open, Amateur, Youth, Youth aged 15-18, Youth aged 12-14 and Youth aged 11 and Under, as well as four High-Point awards, one each for Amateur Select, Novice Amateur, Novice Youth aged 14-18 and Novice Youth 13 aged 13 and Under.

His Highness Prince Waleed, the new owner of “My Little Secret”, World and National Champion 2 Year Old Stallion, has been watching today’s Open Fillies and Mares at Halter online via the World Show Web Cam.

GoHorseShow is excited to report that the McMullen family has sold Huntin For Money (Honey) to the Frank family who is under the guidance of Scott and Karen Graham of Cave Creek, Arizona. "Honey has been bought mainly for my daughter, Sydney," the new owner, Cathy Frank told GoHorseShow.

Congratulations to Suddenly A Cool Lady, Gil Galyean and James and Anneene Gustafson of Starland Ranch, LLC for winning the 2011 Congress Masters 2 Yr Old Western Pleasure class and a $100,000 check. Suddenly A Cool Lady is by Masterson Farms’ great stallion, RL Best of Sudden who sired four horses in the Top-10. She is also the very first foal out of Susan Knapp’s multiple World Champion mare, Cool Krymsun Lady.

Mary Huddleston is not your regular teenage girl. She just placed sixth at the Congress in the Novice Youth 14-18 Hunter Under Saddle with her horse, Assets In A Artbeat, and she also maintains straight A's in school. Mary is also in a fight for her life trying to overcome her second bout with a rare type of bone cancer known as Ewing's Sarcoma.

From humble beginnings showing at local shows and in 4-H in Iowa, the Knapp Family's involvement with horses has evolved and turned them into one of the most successful families who show and breed champions in our industry.

It's rare to win a Congress Championship. It is even more rare to have your boyfriend or girlfriend win one as well. It's even more rare for both championships to come in less than 24 hours. That is exactly the case with Travis Sancken and Jenny Bivins.
