GoHorseShow is saddened to report the passing of NRHA legend Bill Horn on Friday evening, December 9th. We will keep everyone up to date about future funeral arrangements.

Past AQHA President Frank Merrill expressed on his Facebook page the sadness of his passing. “He was a long time friend and we had a great deal of respect for him. Our love and prayers go out to his family. There’s a hole in my heart tonight.”

Bill was one of the founding members of the National Reining Horse Association. He was also a past NRHA President. He won four NRHA Futurities, reserve six times, and three NRHA Open World titles. Horn was inducted into the NRHA Hall of Fame, and he was named the NRHA’s first Million Dollar Rider.
