GoHorseShow would like to congratulate Pine View Farm on Invitation Only’s offspring’s amazing performances on Monday at the Congress. The Number One AQHA Leading breeding stallion sired three Congress Champions in the western pleasure classes on Monday. Invitation Only is the sire of over 200 World and Congress Champions and Reserve Champions.
Only A Breeze and Brian Baker won the Two-Year Old Open Stakes, New Dream In Town and Kayla Magrum won the 12-14 Western Pleasure and Only Yours won the 15-18 Western Pleasure as well as the NYATT pleasure on Sunday.
“He is such an amazing sire,” General Breeding manager at Pine View Farm, Debbi Trubee told GoHorseShow Monday night at the Congress. “It will be a long time before the industry sees another like him.”
New Dream In Town (Tate) is out of WW Satin Dream and was raised by Johnny Tart. Caroline Waters showed Tate since his three year-old year, and he was sold to the Magrums last summer. His new owner Kayla Magrum rides with Brian and Darla Lee of Plain City, Ohio. This new team had three firsts to take home the prize. New Dream In Town tied for reserve here at the Congress his 2 year old year with Joy Wheeler, and he is an NSBA World Champion as well.
Only a Breeze, owned by Dan and Kathryn Frederick, led Brian Baker to his first Congress Championship. “It is really a team effort,” Brian says. Earlier this year, Baker won the $50,000 Hylton Maiden Three Year-Old at the Virginia Classic on Only A Summer Breeze and also the slot class at The Little Futurity. This mare is also by Invitation Only.
Ryan Small and Only Yours hit it big with two wins back to back at the Congress. Ryan says that his mare always knows when it is game time and rises to the occasion. These two wins are Small’s first Congress wins which can now can be added to his third place bronze at the AQHYA World Show this year and his 2010 Reserve World Championship in the Youth Western Pleasure. This team is also a three-time Reserve Congress Champion in the pleasure as well.
Invitation Only is the number one AQHA leading sire five years in a row. Invitation Only also topped the sire rankings, he was the number one sire for all AQHA’s Performance Divisions.
A representative from Pine View Farm will be at the Congress the remainder of the Congress. You can learn more about breeding your mare to this living legend next year at their stalls in the Gilligan Barn or click Here to view their website and contact details.
